MacintoshDreamNecklace

Materials needed
13 x Square Feature beads, 10mm
29 x 6mm Crystals
Silver-Plated Seed Beads – Size 8
Silver Lined Seed Beads – Size 8
Jump Rings
Lobster Clasp
Nylon coated wire (approx meters)

Tip
The quantities shown above will make a choker-style necklace of 15 inches, if you want a longer necklace, just increase the number of beads and length of nylon-coated wire.

Step One
Thread both lengths of wire through a crimp bead, then thread on one jump ring.  Form a loop that holds the jump ring, thread the wire back through the crimp bead and squeeze the crimp bead closed.

Step Two
Holding both length of wire together, thread 2 silver-lined seed beads and 1 silver-plated
beads, then 1 crystal and another silver-plated seed bead.

Step Three
The wire now divide, and onto one wire thread 5 silver-lined seed beads, 1 silver-plated seed beads, 1 crystal, 1 silver-plated seed bead, 5 silver-lined seed beads and 1 silver-plated seed bead.

Step Four
Thread the other wire following the instruction above, but instead of 5 silver-lined seed beads, thread 6 instead.  This has the effect of curving the necklace, so it sits well against the neck.

Step Five
Now thread both wires through the Square feature bead from opposite directions (similar to
action of lacing a shoe) (see diagram a optional).

Step Six
Repeat Steps 3 – 5 ten more times or until the necklace is the desired length.

Step Seven
Holding both length of wire together, thread 1 silver-plated seed beads, 1 crystal, 1 silver-plated silver seed bead and then 2 silver lined seed beads.

Step Eight
Thread both lengths of wire through a crimp bead, then thread on one jump ring.  Forming a
loop that holds the jump ring, thread the wire back through the crimp bead and squeeze the
crimp bead closed.

Step Nine
To attach the clasp, twist the jump ring open using pliers and attach the lobster clasp, then close the jump ring.

Step Ten
The design example, shows a safety chain, which can be made using a length of silver-plated chain with a crystal loop on the end.
