Jewelry Project
An organic style pendant set with warm tones
Materials needed
3 x Amber Crackle beads 8mm
Leather or faux leather cord
Willow drop pendant component
Size 6 Amber seed beads
Flower rondelles
Size 8 seed beads
Jump ring
Tips
To make a shorter necklace length, use leather folding crimps to attach a lobster clasp. This way you will be able to open the necklace instead of sliding over the head.
Step One
Take length of cord that is long enough to go over the head when knotted together.
Step Two
Take a headpin and slide on a size 8 seed bead, a rondelle, a size 6 amber seed bead, a rondelle and another seed bead. Trim the headpin to leave ¼ inch (1 cm) of wire and make a loop with round nose pliers. Repeat 3 more times.
Step Three
Using the same technique as above, place a rondelle, an amber bead and a rondelle on a headpin and make a loop. Repeat twice more.
Step Four
Attach an the amber crackle bead headpin drop to the base of the willow charm where the round loop is located. Place the other beaded headpin charms as indicated in the picture working your way up the willow drop. Now use a jump ring to attach the decorated willow drop to the cord.
Step Five
Attach ear-wires to the remain drops to create matching earrings.
