10 black nugget beads (12mm)
Stretch Elastic

Tips
Try also making this design using different color combinations, such as plain red beads and decorative black beads for a different look. Experiment with different bead shapes for a different effect. Using plainer beads a ratio of two to one in this style not only help reduce costs, but also helps show off the beauty of the Venetian style decorative glass.

Step One
Take 10 black nugget beads and five Venetian style cuboids beads and thread onto a generous length of stretch elastic. Thread in a pattern of two nugget beads followed by one Cuboids bead.

Step Two
Make a surgeons knot a show in the diagram, and cut excess elastic.
