Contemporary Cage Necklace

This is a modern style necklace which looks great worn resting at the collar bone.

Materials

Nylon Thread
Silver plated metal tubes
4mm bicone crystal
6mm bicone crystal
Torpedo clasp

Step One

Take a metre of nylon thread. Thread on a silver tube and push to t the middle of the thread. Follow with two 4mm bicone crystals each side. Now thread on a silver tube and pass the thread through the opposite end. Thread on 4mm crystals each and repeat pattern until you have six tubes. Now join to make a circle by passing the thread through the last tube.

Step Two

Separate threads and thread on a 6mm crystal onto each thread. Now create a pattern of 4mm crystal and tube in the pattern of your choice. When you reach the desired length add a torpedo clasp to finish.
