Old and new styles blend together for contemporary yet traditional feel
Materials needed
Headpins
Crystal bicones 6 mm in Aquamarine and
Tanzanite
Metal decorated rondelles
Silver Foil Sugar multicolored beads or
similar feature bead.
Jump rings
Lobster clasp
Tips
If you can’t get hold of sugar beads, use a similar feature bead of your choice that you would like to highlight in a bracelet design. Save time by
using eye pins instead of headpins.
Step One
Take a headpin and thread on a sugar bead, make a loop at one end with round nose pliers and push the bead to sit on the loop. Trim the other end of the headpin to 1/4 inch (1cm) or
wire and make another loop. Repeat three more times.
Step Two
Using the same technique as above, thread a rondelle, a crystal followed by a rondelle onto a headpin. Do this with twice Aquamarine crystals and three times for the Aquamarine.
Step Three
You should now have nine decorated headpins. Now interlink these to form a bracelet. Attach a jump ring to both ends and add a lobster clasp.
