Materials needed
Earring Hoops
Mixed Czech beads
In different color groups
Seed beads size 8
Crystal beads
Headpins
Jump ring
Tips
For a nice draping of bead, don’t attach all the charms to the jump ring, but allow some to drape of each other by attaching them together by the headpin loops.
Step One
Select an earring hoop which will open enough to circle a wine glass stem. Attach a jump ring to the section of the hoop where an ear wire would normally be placed.
Step Two
Using four headpins per earring hoop, make four drops per earring hoop. Each earring hoop will become a different wine glass charm, so allocate a different color to each hoop. Take a headpin and thread on a seed bead a larger bead and smaller bead or crystal. Finish with another seed bead. Cut the headpin to leave ¼ inch (1 cm) of wire and make a loop with round nose pliers. Now attach to the jump ring on the earring hoop. Continue to make three other drops per wine glass charm comprising of either one large of two smaller beads to make an irregular no symmetrical effect.
*Allocate a wine glass charm to each guest at a party. Each guest should have a different color charm, so that they can easily identify their wine glass for a refill.
