Egyptian Style Earrings

Classic design influences from the past can be used for great inspiration

 

EgyptianStyleEarrings

Materials Needed
Ear wires
Headpins
Earrings hoops
Seed beads size 8
4mm Flat round beads
3mm square beads
12 x 4mm Crystal Bicones
6 x Bali Style metal tube beads

Tips
Use packs of mixed seed bead for a
variety of sizes.
Experiment with color.

Step One
Take a headpin and slot on a 3mm square bead, a seed bead, 4mm flat round bead, a 4mm
bicone crystal bead, a 4mm flat round bead, a metal decorated tube, a flat 4mm round bead,
a seed bead, a square 3mm bead a 4mm bicone crystal bead, a seed bead and a 4mm flat
round bead. Cut headpin leaving a ¼ inch ( 1 cm ) of wire and make a loop with round nosepliers
This is the centre drop of one of the earrings, now repeat to make the centre point of the other
earring drop.

Step Two
Take a headpin and slot on two seed beads, a 4mm flat round bead, a 4mm bicone crystal, a
4mm flat round bead, a metal decorated tube bead, a square 3mm bead, a 4mm bicone
crystal and make a loop as before. Repeat this step 3 more times and you will now have two
side drops to go on each earrings.

Step Three
Take an earring loop and open. Slot on a silver seed bead, followed by the first short drop,
follow with a 4mm flat round bead and then the longer centre drop. Follow this with another
4mm flat round bead and then add the remaining short drop, then finish with a silver seed
bead, Close the earrings hoops an attach an ear- wire. Repeat to make the other earring.
