VineNecklace

Materials needed
Suede cord or similar
Necklace connector
Headpins
Seed beads
Flat metal charms
6mm Cats eye beads or similar
Two shell discs in coordinating colors
Jump rings
Fold over cord end clasp
Lobster clasp

Tips
Use Epoxy Resin to secure knots
Step one
Knot two lengths of suede cord either side of a necklace connector. Take a folding clasp/
leather crimp and slot the cord ends into the clasp and fold the clasp over the cord using flat
nose pliers. Attach a jump ring to each cord end and a lobster clasp to one end.

Step Two
Take a 3 ¼ inch piece of chain. At one end attach a flat metal charm with a jump ring.
Now starting at the opposite end decorate with leaf style beads, 6mm beads and mixed lamp
work beads in two coordinating color tones; such as the amethyst and green used here.
Make beaded charms by placing a seed bead onto the end of a headpin, attach a bead and
finish off with another seed bead. Cut the headpin leaving a ¼ inch section of wire and bend
into a loop with round nose pliers. Place your beaded charms in groups of twos, three and the
occasional single metal flat charm as you work your way down the chain to the end, in an
irregular fashion.

Step Three
Attach chain to centre of the necklace connector with a jump ring.. Again using jump rings
attach two shell discs either side of the centre chain and finish of by attaching a flat metal
charm or coin style bead at the far end of each side of the necklace connector.
